A firm favourite among artists and calligraphers alike, Ecoline is a fantastic transparent liquid watercolour ink which offers a wide range of colours, available in bottled ink or brush pen form. With a shorter drying time than other watercolours we've tested and beautifully bright and vivid colours available in a vast range, Ecoline stand out as some of the best watercolours around.
The 'pure formula' ink, which Ecoline advise is based on dyes and Gum Arabic, is the secret to their fantastically intense colours. The ink lends itself to blending and mixing extremely well - simply add water to the colour laid down by the pens to mix and blend, or, use the handy blender pen.
The brush pens use a large fibre-brush nib which is soft and pliable - great for achieving a variety of line widths and effects, and which keep their shape very well.
The ink is water-based and not particularly light-fast, so Ecoline advise keeping works in a portfolio for best colour retention.
Pack of 20 pens includes one each of light yellow, deep yellow, chartreuse, light orange, deep orange,vermilion, carmine, magenta, blue violet, ultramarine violet, sky blue cyan, Prussian blue, turquoise blue, light green, green, forest green, yellow ochre, deep ochre, burnt sienna and black.

FREE Royal Mail Standard delivery for orders over £40, and just £3.50 for smaller orders. Royal Mail Priority is available as an option, for £3.50 on orders over £40, £5.50 on smaller orders. Express available for £9, or FREE with any order over £400. No delivery surcharges for Northern Ireland, Highlands & Islands or anywhere else!
International
International deliveries vary in cost, so you'll need to add the items you want to your basket, and enter the checkout to see the options for delivery. Prices and payment methods will reflect your country, and many countries have all taxes and duties included to make things easier and more predictable.
Orders over 2kg
For all orders outside the UK, heavy orders may cost more to send, but the shipping cost will be displayed in the checkout before you commit.
